Corinne Weidmann is a Swiss contemporary artist whose work explores the fluid relationship between external environments and the inner landscapes of human perception. Through vivid abstraction and intricate pattern, she blurs the boundaries between self and surroundings, suggesting that the natural world and our inner lives are deeply interconnected.

Initially focused on fragile, climate-impacted ecosystems – especially glacial and transitional landscapes – Weidmann’s practice has evolved into a broader inquiry into ecological and emotional interdependence. Her art invites reflection on the state of the Earth as a reflection of human consciousness, underscoring that meaningful change begins from within.

Weidmann draws from cross-cultural experiences and interdisciplinary collaborations with scientists and artists to create work that bridges traditional techniques and contemporary concerns. Her art has found resonance in both academic and subcultural contexts, including the snowboarding community, and has been exhibited internationally. Over the past two decades, she has worked with clients such as Roxy, Dakine, Mammut, Mervin Manufacturing, the Paul Scherrer Institute, and the University of London.

She studied Graphic Design at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Lucerne, as well as the Basel School of Design, and has lived and worked in Costa Rica, Berlin, and London – experiences that continue to shape her globally informed practice.

Since 2022, Weidmann has also been active in humanitarian efforts supporting Ukraine. In 2024, she co-founded Ukraine Recovery Aid, where she develops intercultural projects in both Switzerland and Ukraine, with a focus on Ukrainian craftsmanship and cultural heritage.
