Celebrate the diversity of North American trees and the unique terrains that shape them. Pacific Bonsai Museum’s “Natives” exhibit reestablishes the connection between bonsai and their natural habitats, pairing them with landscapes by contemporary artist Iuna Tinta. Featuring bonsai by artists who have championed the use of native species – Elser, Hagedorn, Knight, Neil, Robinson – and the trees of Pacific Bonsai Museum. Accented by kusamono from artist Young Choe and kusamono containers by bonsai potter Victoria Chamberlain. On view April 8 – October 8 at Pacific Bonsai Museum.
